Argentina in the Copa America knockout stage

By winning their second consecutive match, Argentina has advanced to the knockout stage of the Copa America in the United States.

In a Group ‘A’ match held on Wednesday morning at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, Argentina defeated Chile 1-0. The decisive goal was scored by substitute player Lautaro Martinez near the end of the match.

Martinez scored in the 88th minute. In injury time, he missed an opportunity to add another goal from an Angel Di Maria pass.
